I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last spring and lived in Madison most of my life. I wish you the very best in raising awareness for this dreadful disease. Though I never smoked, drank, did drugs (incl. marijuana), ate 'junk food, exercised and was always healthy, I still got cancer. However many small children with cancer don't survive the age of 10 - so life is more unfair to them than myself. I continue to write my poetry and God has blessed me with 67 years. I appreciate every year He has given. Anyway, life has been good and I enjoy every moment. As chemo leaves me 'glued' some distance from Wisconsin, I won't be able to come to many/m…
